| Details: Process or Project  Engineer – Chemical Manufacturing  Salary $80,000 - $95,000 + bonus and excellent benefits and relocation packages One of the nation’s fastest growing Chemical Manufacturers has an opening for a Engineer. This role provides process technical expertise for day-to-day plant operations, ensures that the plant is operated within applicable standards, and focuses on process improvements.Responsibilities include supporting the organizational and facility goals and objectives. Will be over assigned areas including technical documentation, PSM (MOC, PSSR, PHA), operating procedures, KPIs, process training, safe operating limits, and EHS & S compliances. This position will also provide trouble-shooting and technical support to operations and maintenance supervision to ensure plant operating objectives are achieved, including shutdowns. You will also be facilitating process and product quality improvement initiatives, including use of Statistical Process Control techniques and detailed process studies. Lead 8-step process evaluation and implementation of operational excellence projects that reduce plant costs as well as leading development and implementation of SPC charts in operating areas. Lead problem solving efforts related to operating or quality issues and improvements, reviewing for product specification compliances, providing process and design support for projects, as assigned. This position will also be participating in continuous learning to remain proficient in rapidly changing production and process principles and software in the industry. Provide process and project support for engineering, design, construction, and commissioning of systems and equipment start-ups; supporting company ORC initiatives, including Emergency Response activities within assigned products (chlorine, caustic, HCI, and bleach). Participating in or leading Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) reviews. | ||||
